FINSKY & MICHAEL, & WHOEVER ELSE KNOWS!!
I JUST CHECKED AGAIN TODAY AND THE HIVE IS (I THINK ) QUEENLESS. THERE IS ONE QUEEN CELL IN CENTER OF 3RD FRAME FROM LEFT SIDE OF HIVE BODY AND NO BROOD IN HIVE. ALL HAVE EMERGED. BEES ARE COLLECTING HONEY AND THERE IS PLENTY OF POLLEN BUT NO EGGS. DO YOU THINK I SHOULD RE-QUEEN OR LET THEM RAISE THE ONE IN THE HIVE? THE ONLY QUEEN CELL IN THE HIVE IS ABOUT 3-4 DAYS OLD.  I DON'T WANT TO LOSE THIS HIVE.  IF I SPLIT AND START SPLIT WITH NEW QUEEN AND AFTER ALL HAS SETTLED DOWN, COMBINE BACK TOGETHER, DO YOU THINK THIS WISE OR NOT.TOM

if you can get a queen get one, if not let them raise their own, if it was me they have gone for enough for me to leave them alone and let them raise a queen, but that just me, and if you have another hive I would add a frame of brood with eggs and see if they would raise a few more for cells for nuc's or splits,, but then again that's just what I would do....
THAT's ME TO THE LEFT JUST 5 MONTHS FROM NOW!!!!!!!!

I like to let them sort things out. If they have a queen cell they already are.
