I'm new to the world of bees and currently trying to learn as fast as my meagre faculties will allow.

As for background, I'm an industrial electrician by trade with a degree in information technology.  I had a boss some years ago that kept bees and was always curious but never had the time, well now I do.

I'm in the process of planting out my yard with as many bee friendly shrubs as I can reasonably fit and look after given our dry climate and hope to get my first hive come (Australian) spring.

Looking forward to learning as much as I can.
