What's good for bees is usually good for mankind. Doesn't that mean sharing?

I thought this looked good too.  I'm a big fan of Dafne Keen after her fabulous performance in Logan a couple of years ago.  I don't have time for any more books/shows in my life right now, but definitely something I'll check out in the future.
I come from under the hill, and under the hills and over the hills my paths led.  And through the air, I am she that walks unseen.

David Jesudason's review indicates it is an anti-Christian anti-populist story.
Not my words, his.  Just saying.

So you're "Just saying" as a warning that it may offend their beliefs? Get a life, its a story! As are other books of fiction.

That was my take on it also - anti-Christian, anti-moral, anti-Freedom - written with the intent of further undermining the basic tenants of modern civilization (family, community, trust, respect, self-reliance, personal responsibility, etc), intended to confuse people minds at the subliminal level and thus facilitate the chaos needed to bring in the darkness of socialism - by city, by country, and eventually to the entire globe.

... i.e. a work of leftist propaganda.

unless you are under the desk with an intern

"Entertainment" has long been used to sway society in one direction or another.  Sometimes that's been good.  More often it is not.  I was having a conversation with a leftist about something and they said "Have you watched the Handmaids Tale?  That's what you guys want.".  Really?  A TV show is what you use to form a political opinion?  Amazon has Carnival Row and it pushes open immigration.   It's a fantasy series, but the message can't be missed.

So yes, we need to be aware that very often a cigar is not just a cigar.

So you believe this show will convert people? See the bold text, you can't have it both ways. It's a story! Next, you will be saying the people will be taking up swords, bows and arrows etc a la G of T.

It is a story, but stories influence people and their views.  Guess Who's Coming To DinnerTo Kill A Mockingbird  The Birth of A Nation...For better or worse, entertainment can influence.  It is often designed to influence.

If I looked to a movie series to encourage the taking up of bows and arrows it would be The Hunger Games.

As do the Bible, Koran and Vedas etc. Shouldn't people be warned of the messages contained therein?

Should people be aware of what is in them?  One would hope that if they are following any of them they would be aware of what is in them.  I am not sure how they compare to what is billed as entertainment and is designed to influence.  Religious writings ARE designed to influence.  Pretty sure everyone knows that.

You're showing your intolerance, sadly.
Perhaps you should hold yourself to the standards you hold others....

He will be saying shortly that Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings etc should be banned......oh wait a minute hasn't some do-gooder already tried to get them removed from Libraries! Probably think they are 'leftist propaganda' Laughable.

I think some other Rightist Nutters tried burning books and look at what happened later. I know, NS but you get the gist.
