Matt from southwest MO. 2nd generation beekeeper with bout 30 yr break between. Swore off bees after high school. Dad and I managed hives and trucked to Cali for almonds, strictly comb honey. Miller Honey out of California bought all we could produce. Fast forward 30 yrs, started CSA parttime and noticed less honeybees. Had heard rumors about decline but wasn?t really aware of how much has changed. Started back into it with 2 colonies. Now running about 20. Extracted honey first time last yr and sold out. Gonna try chunk and comb honey next yr. Looking to get back up to speed on beekeeping and sharing what little I know. Thank you for letting me in
