The pic shows the moths floating on the surface of the solution in a typical yellow jacket trap.  I also use one liter pop bottles also with a 1/2 half inch hole close to the top of the pop bottle, source is:

Rvbees.com

Recipe is:

1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup Apple cider vinegar: to keep bees away.  Bees hate the vinegar smell.
One half or so, banana peel.

The trap will catch moths over night, works fantastic.  Also attracts European hornets, bald faced hornets, yellow jackets, and fruit flies.

Best to your bees.
I have been around bees a long time, since birth.  I am a hobbyist so my answers often reflect this fact.  I concentrate on genetics, raise my own queens by wet graft, nicot, with natural or II breeding.  I do not sell queens, I will give queens  for free but no shipping.
