Hello! I want to harvest bee venom powder. Could you help me with these 3 questions:
1. How to purify a venom powder to medicine grade ?
2. What is the difference in composition and standards of a cosmetic and medicine grade venom ?
3. Is there any difference between storing both types of bee venom ?

These answers will help me a lot in starting this new journey.
Thank you

Melittin, the active portion of bee venom is available online.  A
Solid White powder.
I have been around bees a long time, since birth.  I am a hobbyist so my answers often reflect this fact.  I concentrate on genetics, raise my own queens by wet graft, nicot, with natural or II breeding.  I do not sell queens, I will give queens  for free but no shipping.

Just so you understand, melittin lyses, cuts the membrane of human cells.  Contamination of fingers and mucous membrane such as the eyes don?t mix very well.  Inhalation would be disastrous, same as being stung in the lungs.  Bee venom Powder is very poisonous and acts instantly upon contact.

Welcome to Beemaster.
I hope the hives that you want to harvest bee venom from are out in the middle of nowhere. In order to harvest venom, you put a metal tray in the hive with electrified wire over it. It shocks the bees and they try to sting and the venom collects on the tray.
This makes for a very mean and highly agitated bees. Anyone with 500 feet will probably bee stung.
Good luck.
