There back!!!  European hornet is missing its head, tried to sting me it did but I prevailed and took a picture with a honey bee for size comparison.  Those hornets are terrifying to me, they are so huge.  I am afraid of those rascals and bee suits are no protection.  That is why I kill every hornet I see.

I have been around bees a long time, since birth.  I am a hobbyist so my answers often reflect this fact.  I concentrate on genetics, raise my own queens by wet graft, nicot, with natural or II breeding.  I do not sell queens, I will give queens  for free but no shipping.

Nock

It felt good getting that Queen awhile back.

Wow, I see why Mr Van, they are huge! So far there are none in my area that I have seen or heard of. Is this a mountainous thing with them? Are they mostly found in the mountains or are they in other areas?

I believe they are found across the Eastern US.
I come from under the hill, and under the hills and over the hills my paths led.  And through the air, I am she that walks unseen.
