Cappings

In my supers set for extraction, most of the honey is capped with nice white cappings.  A few frames have slightly yellowish cappings, less brilliant in the sun.  One or two frames have predominately white cappings, with patches of the yellowish capping.  Are these different cappings the result of new wax being used as opposed to older wax salvaged from elsewhere in the hive being used?  Or what?

It's all new wax.  The more yellow wax was made when there was yellow pollen coming in or it has travel stains on it, which are basically pollen.  Recycled wax is generally brown.

When bees cap dandelion honey the wax is pale orange. It is easy to note when I extract honey.
