seems like a lot of trouble for some tree rats. or some coon hunters jonesing for a fix.
I've killed a lot of stuff in front of dogs but only once with squirrel for some reason or another, and I was like 7 years old then. It's kinda cool but noisy. A quieted down rifle with.22 shorts is more my speed ... One great thing would be that there's nearly no chance of picking one up that was still alive .. still have a scar on my left hand where a squirrel's teeth met from that. :cheesy:

Quotestill have a scar on my left hand where a squirrel's teeth met from that. :cheesy:

When I was a kid I knew an old man who warned me of the same thing. He had a scar between his thumb and the first finger, right in the soft spot.

Animal,
That is why god keeps us around. 😁

My youngest sister has been learning about how dangerous squirrels can be in her falconry education.  Apparently, if you want to hunt squirrels with a bird of prey, it's recommended you have your bird wear "squirrel chaps", which are basically boots to protect their feet from the squirrels' teeth.  I think squirrels are the only small quarry animal where there is a serious concern they could harm the bird.
I come from under the hill, and under the hills and over the hills my paths led.  And through the air, I am she that walks unseen.

Sounds reasonable Reagan.

Falconry has always been interesting to me. Please keep us updated as she progress along.
