I watched this series last winter,not sure why I never came across it as it was aired originally in 2013. Maybe I just have a little more time and patience to watch series lately.
It kind of puts you to mind of the deep state actual reality we  live in on a daily basis.

We preferred the early seasons over the later ones but we did catch it when it was in season. Reddington was awesome. In the earlier seasons, he shot someone in the last scene in most, if not all of the episodes. Spader is a good actor.

I was a huge Stargate fan. I watched several seasons of Blacklist, but didn't finish it.

A lot of these start better than they finish.  Hard not to run out of ideas eventually.
