However it may have seemed like it. Work has been unbelivable lately. It doesn't look like it is going to slow down. I have trips to Atlanta and Chicago coming up here very shortly. I am stealing time on an internet cafe terminal just to post this message.

First and foremost my aplogies to all for not posting with more frequency.  Busy doen't even begin to describe how busy it has been. I have been hire people as fast as I can only to end up having to fire them shortly after I hire them. Good help is hard to find.

I still have bees. Lots of them. And while it has cooled down here slightly it is going to get very cold. And in Florida we don't winter our bees. Some notes on my bees. I had a 4 stack hive get knock over by what I don't know. The hive recovered fine despite being over for almost 12 hours.
My hive #1 took a turn for the worse. The queen died or something and the hive got weak and was overcome by SHB. I downsized tyhe hive to 1 box and bought a replacement queen. Who was not released after 72 hours. I released her and she didn't stay in the hive 24 hours and bolted. $50 down the drain. I am going to split Hive 2 and make it a hive 1.
I still have a colony in a duck box. Because I haven't had time to move them. My swarm trap I set up actually work (thanks Mike). And I have a hive in that I need to relocatye also. However weekends right now arenot free time. So the only time I have had to work on my bees is at night or a brief break I might get. I need to extract a massive amount of honey. But right now the bees are keeping an eye on it for me.

The local beekeeper group I belong to has asked me to also step up my involvement. it wasn't like I was busy enough. They want me to run for VP next year and help set up some of the lectures and events. I explained to them I would more than happy to help as soon as my clones were ready.

To other members who have mailed me and message me I have not forgotten you. I am just learning the best way to spend my time right now is to buy gas and grab a frozen burrito , nuke it, and grab the large Mountain Dew and eat everything while I drive to the next crisis. My aplogies for neglecting you but right now you are all getting as much attention as my wife. <----That is a pretty sad statement.

In the meantime. I still enjoy my bees they are very cool and I can't wait to be able to return to a normal life. Someday.

How busy am I ?
I am in an IHOP/Days in off of exit 39 of I 75 in GA right now and then I will head to Atlanta to work on project there. I will then be heading to Chicago. I have a ton of work in Florida that also has to be taken care of. The hard thing to find it people with both electrical and voice data experience. I hire a lot who claim to be something they are not. They don't last very long.

As for my wife she has been almost as busy as I am she is working full time and going to school full tine to get her second degree. It has been very hectic. That is why when I am home I tend to spend time with her. It is why my postings have been so infrequent.

We did go out for Saturday night moonfest in the downtown West Palm Beach area. I found myself taking pictures of all the quite girls in bee costumes. I think I have a new hive :)

Don Quixote (can you tell how old I am I don't even do the spanish spelling) is a favorite of mine. The dash of reality at the end of a run of madness my be the perfect anology. I certainly know I am insane.

The green market in downtown is now open on Saturdays my wife wants to take my honey and sell it. I told her to go for it. I need to extract a bunch more. It is on my list of things to do.

The local beekeeper group and I are going to come up with a list of activites and tutorials for beginners, intermediate, and advanced beekeepers. We are going to work with University of Florida on some of them. I hope to have the final ones nailed down before we set up for the South Florida Fair in Janurary.

And to top it all off as I drive to Atlanta, tomorrow is the fifth wedding anniversary. My wife has school and I am out of town. :(
We had dinner at a very nice resturant yesterday and then I drove to Tampa to do a job early in the morning.

So we hire if you understand you will have no life.
