Advice on how to get the "junk" out of small amounts of propolis.  I have been cleaning my q. excluders and a few other hive parts, saving the propolis of course.  Any tips on how to get the propolis separated from the little pieces of wax and stuff?  I haven't delved into this area yet and am rather stumped.  I did put the material into warm water and the heavier (probably more clean) propolis did sink, but there is still lots of it mixed in with wax floating, and I am sure that some that has sunk had some foreign particles in it too.

As any cook can tell you any foreign particle is seasoning.  LOL  :)
