Winter location

Just curious.  Since the sun is now in the Southern sky, none of my beehives get a lot of sun, a couple of hours of the first morning light.   The rest of the days zero.   Will this be a problem?

The lack of daylight this time of year is a given and the bees have adjusted better than we have.  After all Bees never use Daylight Savings time, they use Daylight period. 
Life is a school.  What have you learned?   :brian:      The greatest danger to our society is apathy, vote in every election!

As I see it the more light the bees see the more time they spend moving around and making honey. In this case more is always better. :)

During this week I cover my hives and next time they see sun in Mach. Many keep hives in cellars and they se sun in May.
