OK, I think that I have had advice enough that I can finally post a picture of my water source for my bees.  I tried two times in two other posts to attach, but failed. Lets see.  Cindi

There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service

looks like a good water source to me. Congratulations on posting the pic. :)

The photo of the queen below is actual size (notice NO BLACK BOX) at the bottom showing that a NO LARGER SIZE IMAGE EXISTS. These pics do not have to be clicked on - if you do, you are taken to Imageshacks website and a short intro/ad to their service.

Notice the photo below of the race track has a BLACK BOX at the bottom showing inside the actul demensions and file size of the full size pic. THIS IS A THUMBNAIL - just click on it to see a larger size image that FITS your screen and the option to click on THAT larger image to see the full sized image.

Additional thought: Notice the size of the photo of the cars, 2048x1536 - that would take a dial- upper about 1.5 minutes to see (it is massive) at image shack, even when you click the thumbnail, it still is THREE CLICKS AWAY before you see the FULL SIZE IMAGE which (if you try) you'll see is pretty massive. So, having multi-stages of viewing for MASSIVE IMAGES is great - but if your photos are like you water source photo, hosting it fullsize in your post is fine - notice you have both images there now.

I just copied your photo from your full image at Imageshack to my computer, uploaded it and copied the code BELOW the pic at imageshack (again the one that says Forum 1) and pasted it under your thumbnail link.

John, I am interested to know if you were giving me some more good advice on picture attachment, like the bee picture in full size.  Would that be a better format to attach images rather than a thumbnail?  Although the ability to enlarge a pic to me would be a better avenue for post readers.  If the full size pic is better, how is that done.  I read the post about how to post images with Imageshack,(I think it was Buzzbee?), I should have looked a little deeper before I asked you to help me through it all.  But thank you so much regardless.  Great day!!! Cindi:

You have almost got it!!! You don't have to choose THUMBNAIL - IF YOUR PHOTO IS BIG ENOUGH (which yours was) you will see LINKS "BELOW" the photo which are for FULL-SIZE PIC POSTING. Links "ABOVE" the image at Imageshack are for "THUMBNAIL" images.

So what you do is, upload the image like you did, then look BELOW the image for the text field that says "FORUM 1" and click (or double click) to highlight text in BLUE, right click mouse and choose COPY and then PAST (again right mouse/paste) in your post on its own line and you are done.

YOU CAN CHECK THE POST by choosing PREVIEW next to the POST button at the bottom of your posting window.

P.S. I have ATTACHING FILES BLOCKED, only Moderators can post attachments - remember that Nasty PM you got ( sadly a few others also got that one) if I allowed attachments, viruses and other things could get through and nobody wants that. What we do with our images through imageshack and other sources are called EMBEDDING and it is much safer and easier "to watch over" and protect members from the seedier side of the net.

Cindi: Also, give the help option in your member tool bar (below your avatar on most screens - where it says HOME, HELP, SEARCH, etc.) a good going over - it at first appears to be a single page, but if you start clicking different link topics MANY MANY  pages of examples from the writers of this software popup. They are much better at explaining their features, and I'm finding new stuff myself every day.

We are all here to help and GLADLY answer all questions, but if no one is around when you are, HELP is a great reference to browse through :)
