I thought I would post this link, it has the best resolution of any webcam in Australia. Good for dial up users as well as broadband.

It overlooks the tasman bridge, Derwent river and Mt. Wellington, which has snow on the top, even in summer at times, as tassie is so far south.

Tasmania, or Tassie as it is known, is of course the home of the famous Tasmanian Devil. These lil critters are in serious danger of extinction. They have developed a contagious form of cancer that affects mainly the mouth. The cause and cure is unknown at this stage. Steps have been taken to isolate colonies to ensure their survival.

Fingers crossed.

That is awesome.
I can't wait to go there.

Very nice images from that webcam. It was a nice summer day when I took a look.

For a view in my backyard, try this one - there may be snow tomorrow. (I'm dreaming of a white Christmas)
