Yesterday it was 56 degrees and blowing a gale.  My husband and i sat in our candle lit house and watched transformers and power lines blow for miles around.  today, it's in the 30's and we have snow on the ground!

i don't know what this does to the poor bees, but i know what it does to my old bones!!!!! :-\

Don't worry Kathy the bees have been living without electricity for a long time now. If they are healthy and your management is in keeping with your local climate I am sure they will survive and thrive. One year not too long ago I had temps in January of 55 one day and -28 the very next, only my small weak hives were affected.
