so if you go to Foundationless frames do you get a lot of drones--hmmmm
lets throw it in the air and see which  way it splatters

I'd assume you would get conciderably more but, take into account that bees  don't just waste all their resources making drones.  They do limit the  population of drones in the hive.

The average hive has around 15% drones no matter what you do.

You get the same number of drones no matter what you do.  Here's the study that proved that:
