Introduced the new queen on Wednesday. This morning went up to check and found the queen cage empty. They had released her, which I believe is a good sign. What are the chances now that they have accepted her??

I am leaving for 3 weeks tonight, so can not check for eggs or anything right now. Just wanted to hear from you guys that all is well with my hive.

Will check my emails while overseas.

Thank you so much

Requeening an existing hive?  Better than even.  I think the stats the scientist quote are about 85% from a candy release.

Yes, this was an existing hive that had lost moral, no brood, no eggs/larvae. Empty combs, no sign of drone brood. Mostly small baby bees inside of hive.

thank you so much for all the support
