When were yours supposed to ship?  How did you find out they would be delayed?  Did they call you?  Did they say how long the delay was?

I am expecting a couple of packages from Rossman to be sent on Wednesday May 9, and I haven't heard anything from them to the contrary.  I was still expecting everything was ok, on time, until I read this....

MBrowne

I too got a call from Rossman yesterday. Delayed about a week.

I recieved a voice mail call on the ship date (May 7th) from Rossman explaining they were having problems and inviting me to call Monday, the 14th for more information or questions.

I'm over a week passed due on the shipping of a package too - waiting on a email about when it suppose to come now. I do know thought that the contract said shipping on May 1st. with a possible week delay due to weather.

The beeyard is Hardeman's but it is another shipper who is sending them out - I totally refuse to install a package into June, so I hope he gets everything straightened out and has them on the way soon. Summers are short enough, I'm not going to lose 2 months waiting on delivery, I'll never catch up before Winter.

Just got my call this morning. I'm debating on whether I should call and cancel my order. It would be almost June when they get here.

I got the call today.  They said they would probably ship next Wednesday, May 16.    :-\     These were ordered in Mid January.  They must be planning to ship some well into June for the folks who ordered in February and later.

Well... Good news, I came home today with a message from the post office - bee package has arrived. They appear in good shape and I'm getting them installed this afternoon :) Good luck with your order!!

I doubt it.. I think the orders from their big customers increased and all the little orders were sent to the back of the queue. I know some people who ordered in November/December who still are waiting.

ChickenWing

They give you a ship date, as soon as you order.  What was the ship date for your friends in November, and December?

Good News/Bad News!

Good News: I got half of my order Tuesday and the other half today.

Bad News: They are all dead! :'( It seems that somewhere in the shipping process someone thought it a good idea to wrap the packages in plastic bags then seal them up in a box.

Hope to see some replacements in the next day or so.

My packaged shipped Monday, post office called this morning, Wednesday, took off from work and got them hived ahead of a thunder storm. Beautiful package from Rossman's, well formed and organized in the shipping cage, very few dead on the bottom and very little syrup left in the can. No sooner were they in the hive then they were seting up house before I even got the lid on.

I am glad to hear that you all are getting your packages now i am still waiting on my three and i have not gotten a call or e-mail. I ordered mine back in the early spring and they told me i was the first to order and they would be shipped out the first week in may and now they tell me they are running a week to ten days behind. And the other part is that the empty hives that i had ready for them are all being filled with swarms that i am catching so i think i am going to call them and tell them to only send me one and three queens and the rest of my money back.

Tom

Got mine today at the post office.  I got a call about 8:00am, but I didn't answer it, because I work 2nd shift, and was asleep.  They left a message to come and get them.   Then they called again at Noon and left a message that they were getting worried.   LOL   I think they were scared of them.   So I got up and went to get them.    When I got there, the lady had to scan the barcode, but she was standing too far away for it to work.  She handed me the scanner and had me do it for her.

Ya Order mine in January just got cancelled and told they are selling there house to get back on there feet (Jester Bees)

Rossman's called me Tuesday the day my bees would be shipped and stated that the bees would be delayed a week.  No hurry, the funny thing is that when i called the post office to tell them that bees were coming to there office, they asked me if i wanted them delivered.  I can see my postal lady carrying a box full of bees LOL
