Well, I would say you do have bee fever, just not spelling bee fever... lol  just kidding...    :fishhit:

I would say start with the Beekeeping Course which is a link just to the top of the home page for this site.

One of the members of this forum, Michael Bush has a wealth of info on his site also.    http://www.bushfarms.com/bees.htm

And of course the folks that populate this forum are very willing to offer any advice they can.  I think youv'e come to a pretty good place to start your journey.

Your local beekeepers association can help out also.

I hope this helps!

Beekeeping for Dummies and The Backyard Beekeeper are two good starter books, but I've found that taking their advice and incorporating advice here in these forums and on Michael Bush's site is a good plan, especially before buying equipment.

Defintely. Start with a beginner book and then incorporate their ideas with ideas in here. Thats what I'ved been doing and I'm sure my bees are happier that I have.

Just remember to keep going even when you don't know what to do.
