What did you get for Christmas this year?
It is too early for me to answer this question yet.

Jim, I was taken back this year. Never wanting anything for myself, my kids and wife got me something each.

My 7 y.o. boy got me a honey jar and dipper set. (The kind with the corn syrup honey) but that's OK. He was very excited to watch me open it and said,"you can feed it to your bees dad."

My 10 y.o. daughter got me a throw blanket and p.j. bottoms.

And my wife got me a kitchen aid mixer. I do the baking and pizza dough making, as she does the grilling, and that's what I got her. A new grill.

I was surprised and had a very merry Christmas. I hope you did too.

John, I'm sorry to hear about that. You're in our prayers.

I've had a hive since June. Christmas day was warm and dry enough to look thru the hive, and I *finally* found my queen. Isn't she gorgeous?

Matt,
How warm is your weather up there?
She looks like a virgin. She is walking on bees, the bees are not attending to her, her abdomen is not developed and it looks like there was a queen cell right below her.
Maybe Michael will chime in and correct me if I am wrong.
