Fritz

Hey!  Just used my name. I tend to not get so confused this way!

usngunner

Retired US Navy Gunners Mate.  I guess I lack imaginations.

ashadedacre

well, we had a tent rental company for 20 years -A Shaded Affair-weddings, festivals, special events.
(man did we ever get odd calls once in a while though....lamp shades, window blinds and ahem  :cheesy: escort services!)  but it was a neat name we didn't want to lose, nor our website.

So when we had to close up shop and focused more on the farm (when not at regular day job now) changed a few letters for our lumber, maple syrup, honey, produce and poultry breeding to become A Shaded Acre.

In marketing, starting company names with numbers or "A" puts you at the front in advertising alpha lists.

sooo, not terribly inventive from forum standpoint, but it works.
Bees-heritage to this farmstead
Maple Syrup
Rare Heritage Breeds of Chickens & Turkeys (Member of Rare Breeds Canada)
Heirloom Orchard Fruits
....wish I didn't have a full time job away from home!

jabez

I like the story of Jabez in the bible who was not born into the best of situation but prayed to be kept from evil and to be blessed by God. Icannot think of a better way to live!

FishermanAllen

G'day all,

I am from Darwin Australia & am so looking forward to using this Forum. I am a relatively new beekeeper & still have lots to learn.

I use the Name "FishermanAllen"as I am a fishing fanatic & always have been. In fact people have called me FishermanAllen for years as I am also a part time Fishing guide for tourists in the Top End of Australia.

markcase

I joined the internet community about a year before AOL got started.  At that time, it asked for your name, I could not put a space so I entered MarkCase.  When AOL started, I had the same issue so I used MarkCase.  Now, I use MarkCase for any online identity.  Yea, not real original, but it shows how long I've been using the internet!

Homeen11

Hey guys, whenever i register at any web sites, i try to use my only user name for all of the web sites or i use my initials and some aditional numbers.
Its easy to remember your user and as well ppl may recognise and remember you, so thats my story.

TheBroodLord

Back in the early 2000's when I used to play video games my username was TheNoobLord.

godfinder

A long time ago, when I was a MUCH younger man in the military, I had a hard time recognizing danger. (some said I had a death wish) A young officer told me that if I didn't learn a little fear I would "find God the hard way".  "Godfinder stuck and became my radio call sign for a few years.
"Never confuse 'Nice' and 'kind';

There are many kind men in the world, but there is no such thing as a 'Nice Guy'.

This.... takes effort!"    The Godfinder

TxKronik

I'm from Texas and I bow hunt with a model called kronik

MediOkra.Life

My member name is just my blog name. Hubs and I moved from a fast paced coastal city to the slow paced country life. It's not mediocre, it's lovely, but we like to joke about the differences.  :cheesy:

HickoryValleyHoney

After I found the site, and decided to join I just made a name correlating to the location of my farm in Tennessee.  If you ever have the opportunity to visit Hickory Valley (Sparta) TN, you will find a piece of heaven on earth.

tycrnp

My initials (TY) and my credentials (CRNP - Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner).  It is also part of my email address...easy to remember.

mobe_45

Mobe has been my nickname for over 30 years. Many places it has been taken, so I added the age I was when I first had to use more than just Mobe.

Dodahdiver

Hi all this looked like a good spot to
write a "I'm not a bot post"
I'm a scuba diver / instructor in Wichita
Ks "doo dah "

eltalia

"eltalia" is a form of "strine" on The Italian.
But I am not Italian, I am Australian, [email protected]... there is a difference
At it since the mid '60s today I focus on rescues and management for others, my apiry interest
switching to propagating our native species Trigona/Trigonella, interesting little buggers
