oldpirate

just an alteration to an old nickname.

Georgia Boy

As some of you have figured out I started out as Seag2425. Seag was the name of one of our cats.  He had sea green eyes so we shorten it to Seag, pronounced Sea then g. But he has passed away and that made me sad. The 2425, well that was an old street address of no importance.

Bees on the other hand make me happy so I needed something better. Then it hit me.

I am from the great state of Georgia and I am male.  :)

So GeorgiaBoy came to mind.

The first for my state and the second on how the bees make me feel young again even though I am now over 50.

Now you know.

BooDaa

Nickname given by a close friend 30 plus years ago.

sweats62

I've been using Sweats62 since the lave 90's when I needed a call-sign for an on-line jet fighter simulator game.  I was sitting at the computer and while looking down I noticed I was about to fly a simulated combat mission in sweat pants.  There's the "Sweats" part.  The "62" came in when I tried using the call-sign for some other applications where the moniker "Sweats" had already been used.  I attached my year of birth and there you have it.

Opal

Opal is my real name. I was on the forums before but couldn't remember what my user name was so I decided to use my real name. I don't think I'll forget that! ;)

MsBee

we keep bees,  live in Mississippi (MS) and I'm female... =MsBee!  :)

Highlander

I have a lot of fun with history, military and family.  I belong to a Revolutionary War re enacting group representing the 42nd, the Royal Highland, Regiment of Foote (1776 re-created), I have a great deal of Scottish Highlands heritage (Campbell and MacDonald), and I live in the mountains.  So it is easy to remember.
Cruachan!

Highlander

For as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom — for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
From The Declaration of Arbroath 1320.

BeeKDavis

I changed an email address that I have had for years to BeeK instead of BK because I thought it was fitting.  I am new to this forum and checking out beekeeping.

manwithgills

Manwithgills was my first dial up internet screen name. It was from my scuba diving days while in the Army. The name has stuck and I use it pretty much for any forum I join.

TemeculaBeek

Got my name from town i'm in right now.
Temecula California

Although I have been known by several other names as well!

Ranxerox (or Ranx) First read the story in Heavy Metal Magazine back in the 70's(?) of 80's

Gona Kikbuty is another tag I have used for many years. Kind of a twist on a Cheech & Chong characters name.

TheFroehleFamily

Its me, my husband and my in-law's that are starting with beekeeping and we are posting to this group as a family; so its pretty self explanatory ^_^.

madcraftermom

Many years ago, back when I was accessing the Internet thru a Sega Saturn Netlink, I went by Echo or Echo72. Then I used various forms of my name and birth year (dee72, dee1972, etc). When I started a crafting blog for my knitting, crocheting and spinning I called it Diary of a Mad Crafter. I tried signing up for a knitting site using madcrafter, but it was taken. Since being a mom is something I love and cherish (8 kids), I settled on Madcraftermom and use that most everywhere now. :)

alewyfe

The Alewife was a woman who made beer in medieval time. The Alewyfe is a small fish that lives in Lake Michigan I believe.

I make beer and I consider myself to be a small fish in a big pond....therefore, Alewyfe seemed appropriate. I also liked the "olde englishy" style of the "f" in the spelling.  :)

Better.to.Bee.than.not

what no honey mead?

I just thought of it when I joined the forum, sounded profound enough....obviously from the To bee or not to beeline ... that is the question. My answer is to bee....
