artsie26

Hi.......mine is because I'm a bit artistic, and the 26 is for the day of the month I was born on. I love to draw, paint, work with clay..etc.  lately I've been into painting on stepping stones, and closer to Christmas I make ornaments out of clay. I love to "help" my kids with school projects. My older 2 won't let me help any more. They tell me I take over the whole project....I don't understand...I'm just trying to get an "A" on my ...I mean their project. They still ask for Ideas, I'm just not aloud to help. But I don't mind...besides the little 2 have projects that are more fun. I have to help while I can...I know it's only a matter of time before they won't let me help either. I should have been an elementary school art teacher, Oh well, maybe in my next life.  ;)
I love this site!!!! I have to say I was cracking up at some of the posts in this topic. It is truly interesting.
Have a GREAT day everyone !!

beegenerous

Well seeing the bees are so generous to us all I thought it was a fitting name :)

Dana ( a guy ) from North Carolina

Glad to be here; just getting back into it after a 10 year break; looking foward to all the fun again; new pests to deal with; but those little girls need our help as they do so much for us...

Dana I really love that name "beegenerous" and I wanted you to know that we are aware you are a guy. See it shows next to your gender to the left. Just mentioning this because I noticed you posted this in another post making sure we are aware you are male.

Glad to meet you here. I am a "women" (how did you guess) beekeeping for 3 years now and loving it all.  Have learned lots here on the forum and it is quite addicting.  Take care and have fun.

Initials easy for an old man to remember. If I can just think of whose initials they are!

duneman

My name-- duneman comes from the fact that I own the biggest sanddune stabilization company in the Great Lakes. I sell or install over 1million plugs in a year.

LOFPB

Ours (girlfriend and I) stands for Line Of Fire PaintBall, our first business (for the last 15 years). Hopefully our newest hobby (beekeeping)  will also turn into a small business.

maker

I chose "maker" since i make things. I'm a machinist by trade. I make things primarily out of metal. Wood is simply easier to manipulate. I also make good dirt for plants to grow in.

Schoon

My name Schoon is short for my last name Schoonhoven.

treebee

I used the name treebee in my bee forums beecause,I cut and top trees with my buckettruck as a side business and people would ask to save the bees in trees they wanted removed and no one was keeping in our county. So I got to studying about removing and keeping bees. I took a class at the local college and just this week with the help of a new bee friend I hived My first swarm :) John Hargrave N.W.Missouri
Relax, step back, take a deep breath, the finger you save just might be your own!
